Field Hockey Master Class

Total Dutch Master Class is focused on building up player’s core fundamental skills within the sport of Field Hockey. Upon completion players will develop a deep understanding of the necessary technical skills required to excel on the field. Players will be able to perform a wide range of passing (push, brush, sweep, drive, etc.) and improve upon their ability to trap and receive. This class will also review defensive tactics such as block tackling, body positioning and decision making which will increase player’s confidence in winning back possession of attack. Final topic covered in this class will be geared towards scoring, players will gain a better understanding of how to control and incorporate power when striking towards cage. 
 

Mastering the core fundamental skills is necessary for all level players, as this will be the foundation of their growth. We highly recommend players at the intermediate and advanced level to participate in this course. Players will be divided based on skill level to help growth and challenge individuals while keeping an overall positive & encouraging environment.
