Corner Skills Classes
Field hockey is a sport that requires a great deal of skill and dedication to master. One of the key aspects of the game is the penalty corner, which can be taken when the defending team commits a foul inside the striking circle. In order to successfully convert a corner, players must have excellent corner skills.
To help players improve their corner skills, our Corners Skill Class will be covering all aspects of the offensive corner unit throughout the 4-week. This class is designed to teach players the technical skills and strategies needed to score from penalty corners.
During a typical corner skills class, players will work on a variety of drills and exercises. These may include practicing different types of shots, such as drives, flicks, defelections, and more as well as learning how to read the opposing team's defense and adjust their own strategies accordingly.
Overall, a specialized corner skills class can be a valuable tool for any field hockey player looking to improve their game. By honing their technical skills, players can become more confident and effective on the field, helping their team to succeed.
