Total Dutch Club is designed to travel with teams to several Field Hockey tournaments. For each of our programs, individual players can sign up for try outs. Players are selected by the Total Dutch Field Hockey coaches.
Total Dutch Club offers 4 top field hockey programs per year.
The National Hockey Festival: Phoenix, AZ
The world’s largest amateur field hockey event, USA Field Hockey’s National Hockey Festival traditionally attracts more than 3,500 athletes from across the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean competing for titles in men’s and women’s divisions including women’s age group (Under 16 and Under 19).
Practice for this program runs from August till November, followed by the Festival tournament at Thanksgiving weekend.
Disney Showcase: Orlando, Florida
Disney’s Field Hockey Showcase, a USA Field Hockey event, to be held in February, seeks to be the premier U16, and U19 girls’ talent assessment opportunity in the United States. The synergy of Disney Sports and USA Field Hockey presents an event that boasts high quality competition, world-class facilities, and top-notch organization. True accolades are for the players who compete before national team selectors and college coaches from across the country: “Welcome to the Proving Ground!”
Practice for this program runs from October till February, followed by the Disney tournament at the first weekend of February.
The fastest field hockey is played indoors on a hard floor. Specific skills and tactics are trained to compete in several indoor tournaments played in the Tri-State area. Total Dutch teams will also compete in qualifiers for the National Indoor Tournament, held in Virginia Beach, where the best teams in the United States compete to become National Indoor Tournament champions. Total Dutch Field Hockey offers spots to players in the U12, U14, U16 & U19 age groups.
Practice for this program runs from November till February, followed by the National Indoor tournament in the first week of March
Only the best and most motivated players keep on playing field hockey in the “off season”. During the Spring, Total Dutch Field Hockey offers those players a spot on our travel teams to further improve your skills and get the last chance of playing field hockey before the Middle- and High school season starts. A perfect way to prepare yourself for your school team.
Total Dutch travels with its U12/U14/U16 and U19 teams to top tournaments in the Tri-State Area to compete with other top clubs in one- or two day tournaments.
Practice and tournaments for this program run from March till July.
